This National Trust site has everything to offer – whether you have all day or half an hour, it is well worth a visit.
It’s a pay and display car park and a flat rate so we made a meal of it and did everything!

There is a stunning five mile circular walk which takes in all the grounds as well as Emmetts but there is a smaller 1.7 mile hoof if you have less time.

The immediate estate of Chartwell is beautiful and big but dogs are to be kept on leads. However this area is so brilliant for exploring being kept on leads is no problem at all.

It is a spectacular place to visit and so huge you’ll all be pooped when you do head for home. There is a shop, café, picnic area and toilets here.

Ps – I have resisted with all my a being making a Churchill quote so I am going now!
