Rumburgh & Southwold

We had a gorgeous stay at Wheelwright’s Cottage in Rumburgh, which is part of Green Haven Holidays.

It’s a quiet little village in Suffolk which has great walks and places to explore (including the local pub which is also dog friendly).

The cottage was a great base for the break and if you are in this next of the woods a visit to Southwold is must. The beach is open to dogs from September 30th to May 1st but the pier is open all year round and all the shops and attractions welcome doggies – and some are a wee bit odd!

The town itself is full of character with all sorts of shops and further round the coast you can check out the lighthouse too.

Bryon rating: four paws out of five, the beach was far too cold but the cottage was lovely and warm!

Oscar rating: four paws out of five, the cottage was lovely and quiet and the shopping was good too x
